Handbook “Social Startup. 9 Steps to a Successful Start” was prepared by experts in banking, finance and business planning from the initiative “My City — My Business — My Future” to help new social entrepreneurs. You can study it here.
The manual contains examples of social entrepreneurship in Belarus and abroad, information on finding business ideas, marketing, PR, internet promotion, fundraising for a social startup, forms of registration and benefits for social entrepreneurship in Belarus. With the help of QR codes one can watch 17 thematic video lessons with tasks. Performing them, entrepreneurs will be able to launch their social business: to decide on a business idea, to brainstorm, to create a business model and to fill in the brief for a website. Social entrepreneurship contributes to achieving the objectives of Sustainable Development Goal 8 “Promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all”. The initiative “My City — My Business — My Future” is implemented by the United Nations Development Program in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus as part of the project “Supporting Local Economic Development in Belarus”.
