On May 19, 2025, a meeting of the public advisory council (PAC) on the development of entrepreneurship and a working group on the activities of individual entrepreneurship (IE) was held in Minsk.
The event was attended by members of the PAC and the IE working group, representatives of ministries, the Entrepreneurship Development Council, the Department of Entrepreneurship, businesses, and the parliamentary corps.
The central topic of the meeting was the updated norms of the Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 713 “On the system of price regulation” and their impact on the activities of individual entrepreneurs. Other key topics of the meeting include issues related to the use of the cash register and other equipment compliant with the new requirements when accepting payments from July 1, 2025. Also during the dialog they identified areas of interaction for further development of coordinated solutions that will consider the interests of the state and the proposals of small and medium-sized businesses.
Creating an environment for entrepreneurship development contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 8 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
