Decisions of the councils of the special fund of the President of Belarus for social support of gifted pupils and students and support of talented youth were approved
By Order of the President of the Republic of Belarus of July 17, 2024. No. 126rp approved the decision of the council of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted pupils and students.
In accordance with this document, 192 university students were awarded Presidential scholarships. 28 winners of international Olympiads and competitions were awarded Grand Prizes with the title of laureate of a special fund. More than 50 pupils, cadets and students were awarded special prizes. The award “For Contribution to the Development of Young People” was awarded to 28 teaching staff.
Another Order of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated July 17, 2024 No. 127rp approved the decision of the council of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth.
7 winners of international artistic and creative competitions became winners of Grand Prizes and were awarded the title of laureate of a special fund. Special prizes were awarded to the winners of international and national creative competitions – 11 representatives of talented youth and the Vocal Ensemble of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. 5 teachers were awarded with the award “For the Contribution to the Education of Talented Young People”.
Support for teaching staff and gifted and talented youth, as well as the creation of conditions for their further development makes an important contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
