The Republic of Belarus supported the creation of an international digital coalition

On September 20, 2021, Belarus took part in the «Partnerships for Connectivity» meeting, which was held within the framework of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. At the meeting, it was announced that the digital coalition Partner2Connect has begun its work.

Belarus presented information on the development of promising modern technologies, taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals and the recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union and international best practices.

The main task of the digital coalition is the implementation of joint projects aimed at the further development of telecommunications infrastructure, digital services, the formation of digital ecosystems, and investment incentives. Interaction in these areas makes a significant contribution to achieving Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 11, 17 and other SDGs.
