The Republican Action Plan for the Year of Improvement in 2025 has been approved in Belarus

By the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 97 dated February 18, 2025, the Republican Action Plan for the Year of Improvement in 2025 was approved.

The plan includes 47 titles of activities, including:

• landscaping (planting trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns);
• repare of the street and road networks;
• arrangement (repair) of automobile and cycling parks and parking lots;
• ensure proper functioning of drinking water supply systems;
• illumination of streets, social and cultural facilities;
• arrangement (repair) of sports and children’s playgrounds in the neighborhood territories;
• plowing and involvement in economic turnover of unused land plots, except for unused fruit orchards;
• bringing order to production facilities, eliminating facts of mismanagement;
• arrangement (repair) of stopping points, passenger platforms and buildings at stations, ensuring their illumination;
• creation of ecological trails;
• arrangement of springs, etc.

To coordinate the work on the implementation of the activities of the Republican plan, the resolution provides for the creation of a temporary Republican headquarters for the Year of Improvement in 2025. The document also defines responsible state bodies and organizations for control and implementation of activities at the republican, regional, basic and primary levels.

The implementation of the Republican Action Plan for the Year of Improvement in 2025 will contribute to the improvement of the urban environment, the creation of comfortable and safe living conditions for the population, as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by the Republic of Belarus.
