The results of the national contest “Energomarathon” have been announced

The Republican contest “Energomarathon” is held annually by the Department of Energy Efficiency of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus. It is a part of the action plan for the Presidential Directive № 3 of June 14, 2007 “On priority directions of strengthening the economic security of the state” implementation. It aims at raising public awareness about the Sustainable Development Goal 7.

Children and school groups participate in the contest: it helps them to learn more about the importance of Sustainable Development Goal 7 “Ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”. The contest categories include educating the public about efficient and rational use of energy resources, information work in the sphere of energy saving in educational institutions, practical, cultural and entertainment activities to promote efficient use of energy resources.
