The State Investment Program for 2025 was approved in Belarus

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 49 dated February 5, 2025, the State Investment Program for 2025 was approved in Belarus. Its main goal is to create and develop the country’s engineering, social, production infrastructure to provide more comfortable living conditions.
A total of 82 objects are included in the program. 2 billion 207 million rubles is envisaged for their financing. More than 80% of these funds are allocated for the implementation of the state programs “Roads of Belarus”, “People’s Health and Demographic Security”, “Education and Youth Policy”, “Housing Construction”, “Agrarian Business”, “Border Security” and others.
Funding is mainly directed to social facilities, including health care, education, culture, sports, water deferrization stations, and rental housing. In particular, in 2025, the following objects will be built and reconstructed:
- highways M-10 (Gomel – Kobrin), M-3 (Minsk – Vitebsk), R-46 (Lepel – Polotsk), R-53 (Sloboda – Novosady);
- bridges over the Pripyat River (in Mozyr) and the Sozh River (on the highway R-30 Gomel – Vetka – Cherikov);
- Technoparks in Brest, Pinsk, Baranovichi, industrial park in Grodno;
- hospital in Postavy, regional oncological dispensary in Grodno, new buildings of the regional hospital in Brest and RSPC of children’s oncology in Borovlyany, rehabilitation center in Aksakovskina;
- school in Ostrovets, laboratory and educational buildings of the Belarusian National Technical University, the sports and recreation center of the Belarusian State University, and the sports complex of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dinamo”;
- complex of buildings of the Holy Assumption Zhirovich Monastery, the Alexander Nevsky Church at the memorial military cemetery in Minsk, etc.
Effective implementation of the investment program activities will contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
