The state program of innovative development of Belarus until 2025 was approved

September 15, 2021, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 348, the State Program of Innovative Development of Belarus for the period up to 2025 was approved.

The main goals of the new program are the development of the country’s scientific and technological potential, the promotion of domestic technologies to the world market and the use of advanced foreign technologies.

As a result of the implementation of the State Program, it is planned to create about 100 highly profitable export-oriented industries, increase the share of innovatively active organizations in the manufacturing industry to 30.5%, and the export volume of science-intensive and high-tech products to $ 18.3 billion by 2025.

Increasing the role of innovations, changing the pace, directions and mechanisms of development of innovative processes are one of the key factors contributing to the country’s economic growth and improving the lives of the population, as well as the achievement of the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 12 and other SDGs.
