The winners of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles have been determined in Belarus

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection summed up the results of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles for 2022.

In total, 107 business entities of various forms of ownership took part in the competition. There are three winners in each category. The best results in reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere from motor vehicles in 2022 were achieved by:

• in the nomination «organizations, in the ownership, economic management or operational management of which there are from 25 to 100 units of motor vehicles» – GLHU «Shchuchinsky forestry»;
• in the nomination «organizations that own, manage or manage 100 or more units of motor vehicles» – Republican Unitary Enterprise «Minsk National Airport».

The holding of a national competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 13 and other SDGs.
