The winners of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles have been named in Belarus

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus has announced the results of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles for 2021.

The event was attended by 70 business entities of various forms of ownership. According to the results of the competition, three winners were determined in each nomination. The best results in reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air from motor vehicles in 2021 were achieved by:

• in the nomination «organizations that own, manage or manage between 25 and 100 units of motor vehicles» – OJSC «Belmagistralavtotrans»;
• in the nomination «organizations that own, manage or manage 100 or more units of motor vehicles» – RUE «National Airport Minsk».

The holding of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 13 and other SDGs.
