On June 27–28, 2024, the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia “The Role of Interregional Cooperation in Building the Innovative Economy of the Union State” is being held in Vitebsk, Polotsk and Novopolotsk. The organizers of the Forum are the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to hold exhibition and presentation events, sectional sessions, joint event of the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Russia, panel session of control agencies of Belarus and Russia, a joint meeting of the governing bodies of the Youth Council (parliament) under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, plenary session and other events. Also within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to sign cooperation agreements, commercial contracts and other documents aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goal 17 and the other SDGs.
