The seminars were held in Mogilev, Grodno and Gomel on the topic «Topical issues of public involvement in making environmentally significant decisions when planning economic activities».
The main goal of the seminars is to involve the public in making environmentally significant decisions to realize their environmental potential, which contributes to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The seminars were organized and conducted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the project «Public involvement in environmental monitoring and improvement of environmental management at the local level», implemented by the United Nations Development Program in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources.
