From January 27 to February 7, 2025 on the basis of the Faculty of Professional Development and Retraining of the Institute of Further Education of the Belarusian State University the trainings for the employees of the system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus are held.
The training is aimed at preparing versatile and multidisciplinary specialists with a wide range of skills and competencies and is conducted in two directions: “Organization of social services at home” and “The content and technology of work on social rehabilitation and habilitation of persons with disabilities”. Course programs include lectures, seminars, trainings, workshops, master classes, and field trips to leading social service centers in Belarus.
Thus, the participants of the program “Organization of social services at home” will learn about the socio-economic policy of Belarus, its legal regulation, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the National Action Plan for its implementation, technologies of professional self-improvement and time management. Participants of the program “The content and technology of work on social rehabilitation and habilitation of persons with disabilities” will learn about the basics of psychology and ethics of social work, technologies of professional self-improvement, modern approaches to helping people with disabilities, etc.
Implementation of programs of professional development and retraining of employees makes an important contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 10 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
