More than 76 thousand young people are volunteers in Belarus. In order to improve the quality of training beginner volunteers, the Republican Volunteer Center, with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Belarus, developed a collection of practical materials for specialists working with volunteers in educational institutions «How to teach to help?».
The collection presents the best practices of coordinators of volunteer groups in educational institutions from all over Belarus, recommendations on the work of volunteers with vulnerable groups of the population, information on the role of volunteers in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Also, the collection contains more than 40 trainings and games for volunteer groups, with the help of which you can prepare young people for volunteer work in an interactive form.
The publication of the collection contributes to the development of a professional volunteer community, socially inclusive sustainable development of the country, and also contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 1, 5, 10 and other SDGs.
