On February 13, 2024, the Republican Water Contest of Research Projects will be held, organized by the educational institution «Republican Center for Ecology and Local History».
The Republican contest held with the aim of developing students’ research and innovation activities in the field of study and protection of water resources as an effective means of improving the quality of education.
Students of schools, colleges, and additional education institutions aged 14-17 can take part in the contest. Research projects can be aimed at studying the water resources of a region of any scale, the impact of climate change on water resources, preserving the biodiversity of water bodies, preventing water pollution and improving its quality, solving problems of drinking water and water supply, digitalization of the water industry, rational water use and protection of water resources at any level.
An application for participation in the contest must be submitted before January 22, 2024.
The Republican Water Contest of Research Projects contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 6, 12, 14 and other SDGs.
