Active implementation of the “One District, One Project” program continues in Belarus

Since 2022, Belarus has been implementing the “One District, One Project” program aimed at strengthening the Belarusian economy and boosting investment activity. When implementing initiatives under this program, first of all, the positive effect on the socio-economic development of the region is taken into account.

The “One District, One Project” initiative in Belarus plans to implement 212 investment projects covering the entire country. The projects are aimed at strengthening the regional economy and creating more than 10,5 thousand jobs. The final implementation of the program is expected by the end of 2026, while dozens of projects have already been successfully completed in some areas. As of January 1, 2026, 143 investment projects have been implemented in various regions of Belarus. In particular:

  • 29 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Brest region. As of January 1, 2026, 19 have been implemented. Among the largest are the installation of a new technological line for the production of landscaping elements at JSC “Spetzhelezobeton” in Mikashevichi and the construction of a greenhouse complex in the agro-town of Olshany.
  • 35 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Vitebsk region. As of January 1, 2026, 24 have been implemented. Among them are the launch of production facilities for food flavors in Beshenkovichi, lubricating oils in Glubokoe district, electrical products in Braslav district, perfumes and clothing in Dokshitsk district, fish in Chashniks district, fruit and vegetable juices, nectars in Sharkovshchinsk district, the modernization of the wood-processing industry of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve in the Lepel district, the introduction of technology for the production of metal structures based on Industry 4.0 by the Novopolotsk Plant of Technological Metal Structures, the organization of the production of new types of products at JSC “Obolsky Ceramic Plant”, the production of dairy products at JSC “Postavsky Dairy Plant”.
  • 38 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Gomel region. As of January 1, 2026, 24 have been implemented. In particular, the woodworking process at JSC “Mozyr Dock” was modernized, a pellet production was established at Pripyatsky National Park, department to produce softwood lumber in the Lelchitsk district was launched, a modern band sawmill was installed at AV “Bells”, a production line for replicated iris was launched at Krasny Mozyryanin.
  • 29 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Grodno region. As of January 1, 2026, 19 projects have been implemented. Among the major and significant projects for the region’s economy are the construction of the Svisloch woodworking plant in the Svisloch district, the launch of poultry meat production and processing at CJSC “Belsalttrade”, the creation of a high-tech enterprise for the production of plastic products at LLC “HDPE-Group”, the launch of the production of glass containers using innovative energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies at JSC “Grodno Glass Factory”.
  • 51 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Minsk region. As of January 1, 2026, 32 have been implemented. The largest are a new pharmaceutical plant in Nesvizh, a new production line for the production of soft caramel based on a branch of the confectionery factory “Slodych” in the Volozhin district.
  • 30 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Mogilev region. As of January 1, 2026, 25 have been implemented. Among them are the modernization of carbon black production at Omsk Carbon Mogilev, the launch of fish production at Rybkhoz Paluzh, the construction of modern rainbow trout farming complexes and the installation of fish breeding complexes in Khotim, Cherikov and Krasnopolsk districts.

The implementation of the “One District — One Project” program contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 10, 11 and the other SDGs.
