The Center for social adaptation, rehabilitation, training, accommodation and temporary shelter for people with disabilities was opened in Lepel, Vitebsk Region. The center is designed for simultaneous accommodation of 6 people.
The main activity of the social institution is the preparation of people with disabilities for independent living. People with disabilities living in the districts of the Vitebsk region will be able to receive medical, social, psychological and other types of services necessary for physical, psychological, social and labor rehabilitation.
The opening of the Center will make an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 8, 10 and other SDGs.
