Draft Regional Sustainable Development Strategy of Brest region until 2040 is submitted for public discussion

Brest Regional Executive Committee holds a public discussion of the draft Regional Sustainable Development Strategy of Brest region until 2040.
The purpose of the document is a coordinated definition by the public, business and authorities of the vision and priorities of Brest region development by 2040.
Strategy is the main document of long-term planning processes of strategic development of Brest region and is developed to improve the quality of life of the population. It considers the resource potential, competitive advantages, and key growth points of the region.
The RSDS is based on a sustainable development model that takes into account the ecological and digital transformation of development processes, ensuring growth in the quality of life of the population, development of the business environment, all-round harmonious development of man as an individual, forming a humane and just society, as well as displaying a responsible attitude to the environment, focused on the preservation of natural resources for future generations.
