Educational project to improve the quality of medical care is implemented in the regions

In order to develop modern diagnostic and therapeutic care, the state institution «Republican Clinical Medical Center» of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, together with district hospitals of the Brest, Grodno and Minsk regions, is implementing the educational project «Modern Medical Care in the Regions».

The project is being implemented on the basis of an educational simulation center in the cities of Bereza, Kobrin, Luninets, Ostrovets, Lida, Soligorsk in the following areas:

• for doctors: radiation diagnostics, ultrasound diagnostics, flexible endoscopy, endovideosurgery in abdominal surgery for benign and malignant pathology, X-ray endovascular surgery, traumatology;
• for nurses: infection and epidemiological control, emergency medical care at the prehospital stage, transfusiology.

The educational project «Modern Medical Care in the Regions» makes an important contribution to improving the quality and availability of modern medical care in district hospitals, as well as to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4 and other SDGs.
