IX International Economic Forum will be held in Vitebsk

On May 18 and 19, 2023, Vitebsk will host the XI International Economic Forum «Innovations. Investments. Prospects», the central theme of which will be «Creative economy – a bet on the future», the basis of which is the creation and implementation of innovations.

Within the framework of the forum will be organized:

• plenary session, which will be attended by the heads of the Vitebsk region, partner regions, leading enterprises in various industries, top managers and business owners;
• panel discussions on topics such as innovative import substitution, clusters and technology parks as drivers of regional development, special economic zones and their role in the development of industrial cooperation, building strategies for interaction between education and business;
• thematic expositions and demonstration sites «Territory of innovations in industry», «Light industry – a platform for cooperation opportunities», «Innovations in pharmacy, healthcare, medicine», «Energy: resources and technologies», «Innovative equipment and technology», «Tourist potential Vitebsk region»;
• exhibition-fair «Agro-industrial potential of the Vitebsk region»;
• subcontracting exchange for industry, construction, agriculture, transport and logistics, IT-sphere, education.

Holding the International Economic Forum “Innovations. Investments. Perspectives” promotes the exchange of experience in the development and use of high technologies, which makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 11, 17 and other SDGs.
