New IT center was opened in Vitebsk

On January 30, 2024, the new Information Technology Center was opened at the technology park «Law and Order» in Vitebsk, which includes the IT school «IT-Academy InTechHub» and the co-working center «MESTO».

The clients of the coworking center will be representatives of modern creative and innovative professions – programmers and designers. At the IT school, young people aged 14 to 30 years will study programming languages and technologies – Python, JavaScript, CSS, Html, VueJS, PostgreSQL, AI (artificial intelligence), MV (machine vision), Big Data (large volume of data), Data Mining (data collection). In the first year, it is planned to graduate more than 20 qualified specialists with employment opportunities.

Together with the educational institution «Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov», a branch of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technologies will also be created on the basis of the Information Technology Center with the aim of conducting practical classes at the training site for specialists in creating an information product.

The functioning of the Information Technology Center will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 9 and other SDGs.
