On August 3, 2024, new modular feldsher-obstetric stationswere put into operation in the villages of Mostishche and Ostashino, Novogrudok district.
The feldsher-obstetric stations are equipped with all the necessary equipment for examining patients, providing emergency pre-hospital (including emergency) and obstetric care. Their responsibilities also include receiving people at home, patronizing children under 3 years of age, providing medical care to preschool institutions that do not have medical workers on their staff, conducting sanitary and anti-epidemic work, etc.
The installation of modular FESs became the optimal solution that helped create modern conditions for medical care for rural residents. Since the beginning of 2024, three modular feldsher-obstetric stations have already been opened in the Novogrudok district: in January – in the village of Yatra, in April – in the agro-town of Volkovichi, in June – in the village of Delyatichi.
The functioning of feldsher-obstetricstations makes medical care more accessible and makes an important contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 11 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
