Project to strengthen the culture of a healthy lifestyle has been launched in Mogilev

On March 12, 2026, a new hygienic project “Balance” was launched in Mogilev, aimed at improving the health of citizens through the practical management of behavioral risk factors with professional medical support. The initiative is being implemented on the basis of the Mogilev Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal 3 “Good Health and Well-Being”.
The project is designed for 2026 and brings together 20 participants who will have to go the way to reducing excess body weight, improving health indicators and introducing healthy habits into everyday life.
A special feature of the project is the interdisciplinary cooperation of specialists. A unified team of experts will work on the participants’ health: general practitioner, endocrinologist, psychotherapist, physical rehabilitation instructor, diabetes schoolteacher. This approach will allow comprehensive support for each participant, from medical assessment to psychological support and the formation of sustainable motivation.
The project aims to show that self—care is a systematic work in which knowledge, support from specialists and willingness to change habits are important.
The implementation of the hygiene project “Balance” will contribute to the development of preventive medicine in the region and the formation of a culture of conscious attitude to one’s own health, as well as contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 10 and the other SDGs.
