On the 19th August, 2021, in the Mogilev district, Saltanovka village, the conference will be held on the topic «Localization of the Sustainable Development Goals at the Regional Level».
The National Coordinator for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoly Isachenko, will address the participants with a welcoming speech. The regional conference will also be attended by representatives of local authorities, business structures, academia, NGOs.
The main goal of the conference is to discuss the beginning of the implementation of the Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Mogilev region for the period up to 2035 and present the results of the competition of best practices for the implementation of the Strategy. During the regional conference, participants will share their views on the state and prospects of sustainable development of the Mogilev region, as well as on the contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals at the regional level.
On the sidelines of the regional conference, there will be an exhibition «Think globally — act locally», within the framework of which there will be a presentation of competitive initiatives and the best projects of the Mogilev region.
