Round table on sustainable development of Mstislavl District was held on the basis of Raksha village council

On April 4, 2025, a round table on sustainable development of the Mstislavl District was held at the Raksha Village Council. It focused on “Shaping healthy lifestyles to achieve the Goal 3 “Good health and wellbeing for all at all ages”.
For more than 10 years, Mstislavsky District has been expanding the possibilities of working with the population to implement local initiatives. Dozens of projects that become part of the SDG strategy are implemented in the district each year. Initiatives include landscaping areas and roads, repairing wells, and conducting sports and other recreational activities.
In 2020, Mstislavl District joined the International Project “Healthy Cities and Towns”. This is the best way to form a social model of health at the regional level. In 2024 alone, as part of its implementation, 70 local-level events were held to promote healthy lifestyles among the population.
Also, in the 24-hour department for senior citizens and persons with disabilities the program “Active Longevity” is being implemented. The round table analyzed the progress of its implementation.
Particular attention has recently been paid to the formation of healthy lifestyles in educational institutions and health check-ups.
The results of the round table were proposals on preparation and implementation of activities aimed at achieving the SDG 3 in Mstislavl District in 2025.
