Steam classes will be created in the Brest region

In 2022, in order to organize and develop mathematical and engineering education for students, 21 institutions of general secondary education in the Brest region will receive STEM equipment, including several sets of multiboards, sets of Lego Wedo constructors.
One new «smart» class will appear in each district and city of the Brest region, as well as in the regional lyceum named after P.M. Masherov. STEM centers are already operating in 18 educational institutions of the Brest region, and 49.7% of general secondary education institutions are equipped with modern equipment in the region. It is planned that by 2025 this figure will be 80%.
The provision of STEM education creates conditions for the innovative development of schoolchildren, which contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 9 and other SDGs.
