The school in the village of Rassvet of Kletskiy rigeon, has one of the best STEM-classes in the country, in which 3D printers, tablets, laptops, robots, drones, and multiboards are actively used for teaching.
The institution has a whole fleet of school robots: a robot waiter bringing a glass, a security robot, a robot artist, an antiseptic robot.
On their classes, children create robots and prototypes that can benefit society. The students developed a business plan for launching a robot into space and sent letters to space companies, where they presented their invention – a robot assembled from a construction set moves through space, overcoming obstacles. Also, schoolchildren invented a prototype of a smart energy-saving cart, which was included in the «100 Ideas for Belarus», an alternative type of fuel — pressed leaves, an «electronic doctor», which remotely detects diseases of the eyes and hearing organs at an early stage.
The creation and functioning of STEM-classes creates the necessary conditions for the development of the child’s abilities and provides an opportunity for high-quality and innovative school education, which makes a huge contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 9 and other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
