On September 2, 2022, the presentation of the first excursion in Belarus in the «clear language» took place at the cultural institution «Baranovichi Museum of Local Lore». The project was implemented by the NGO «Belarusian Association for Assistance to Young Disabled and Disabled Children», the Baranovichi Local History Museum, the SEI «Secondary School No. 13 of Baranovichi» with the support of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee and includes a tour of the hall of nature that is understandable for any person, as well as labeling in «clear language».
The project will be useful for people with intellectual disabilities, those who have difficulty reading and understanding the text, people with dementia, those who have had a stroke or brain injury, etc.
The use of «clear language» contributes to the creation of an accessible environment and makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goal 10 and other SDGs.
