On July 17, 2024, the first modular paramedic and obstetric station in the Brest region was opened in the Kobrin district.

Modular paramedic and obstetric station is a medical unit where local residents can turn for medical help. It will serve 611 people. The facility is equipped with all the necessary equipment for providing first aid and examining patients. If necessary, the item can be dismantled and moved to another location.

It is planned to install six more mobile medical and obstetric stations in the Brest region. One each in Gantsevichi, Baranovichi, Ivatsevichi and Drogichinsky districts and two in Ivanovo.

The functioning of medical and midwifery stations makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 11 and the other SDGs.
