On November 25, 2021, the fourth Regional Forum #GBCregions (State. Business. Citizens — regions) was held in Vitebsk.
The event was organized by the National Center for Traffic Exchange, the National Center for Electronic Services and Belarusian cloud technologies with the support of the Operative Analytical Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The event was attended by heads of state bodies and organizations, regional and district executive committees, representatives of IT companies, banks, businesses and educational institutions.
During the forum, experts and participants discussed topics such as innovation and digital transformation in petrochemistry, energy, forestry and cultural spheres; features of the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On the Protection of Personal Data»; artificial intelligence; biometric identification and others.
The #GBCregions Regional Forum is aimed at solving the tasks of Sustainable Development Goals 7, 8, 9, 11 and other SDGs.
