The project for people with musculoskeletal disorders was launched in Gomel

The Gomel regional public association «Spinal Disabled People» signed an agreement with the Social Protection Department of the Central District Administration of Gomel, which provides for the implementation of the state social order for the provision of social habilitation services to residents of the regional center in difficult life situations.

Design principle of «Socio-habilitation services», implemented by the Gomel regional public association «Spinal Disabled People» within the framework of the social order – «Do as I do» and «Equal helps an equal».

Within 15-16 days, more experienced people who have previously received an injury of the musculoskeletal system share their knowledge and skills with a person who has just received similar injuries, which significantly improves their perception of the situation, and also helps the person to overcome the difficulties that have arisen and understand how to live on.

Improving the quality of life of an individual is directly related to the development of society as a whole. The project addresses the objectives of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 10 and other SDGs.
