The third Regional Forum #GBCregions was held in Grodno

On November 4, 2021, with the support of the Operative-Analytical Center under the President and the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, the third Regional Forum #GBCregions (State. Business. Citizens — Regions) was held in Grodno.

The Forum was organized by the National Traffic Exchange Center, the National Electronic Services Center, and Belarusian cloud technologies.

Representatives of local executive and administrative bodies, IT companies, banks, businesses and educational institutions took part in the forum.

During the forum, the projects «Electronic recipe» and the database of foreign students, the results of their implementation were presented, as well as issues of compliance with legislation in the field of electronic document management, the use of electronic digital signatures, promotion of modern technologies in Belarus in the field of digital transformation: cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, high-speed data transmission technologies (4G and 5G), IoT and smart solutions.

Huawei made a presentation on the topic «Digital transformation: Huawei solutions for“ smart health», in which was presented ideas for digitalizing the health care system in Belarus:

• make the transition from hospital informatization to connected healthcare – digitalize hospitals, build a financial management system, improve communication between healthcare institutions and personalize medical services for the purpose;
• make the transition from therapy to disease prevention – connect remote presence systems in order to make the transition;
• creation of a «smart platform».

The #GBCregions Regional Forum is aimed at addressing the objectives of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 8, 9, 11 and other SDGs.
