The training “Smart cities of Belarus — ways to development” was held in Glubokoe

The training “Smart cities of Belarus — ways to development” was held in Glubokoe on the 22^th-24^th of July with the assistance of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.

The main goal of the training is to popularize the “Smart City” concept and develop cooperation with a wide range of stakeholders.

The training program includes issues of creating conditions for the functioning of a unified system “Smart City”, which is being implemented within the framework of an integrated project “Smart Cities of Belarus” in accordance with the State Program “Digital Development of Belarus” for 2021–2025.

“Smart cities” is one of the most important activities of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus and local authorities, the implementation of which contributes to the achievement of SDGs 9, 10, 11, 17 and others.
