On July 28, 2026, two multifunctional sports grounds were opened in Brest, created as part of the republican social project of the Presidential Sports Club “Sport for All”. The new facilities are designed to expand opportunities for outdoor physical education, ensuring accessibility and comfort for city residents.
The first site is located on the basis of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 28 of Brest” in the Vostok microdistrict. The complex is designed for a wide range of activities and is suitable for people of different ages and training levels, as well as for people with disabilities and senior citizens. For added safety and convenience, a seamless rubber coating is installed.
The second site was opened in the Rechitsa microdistrict — at the stadium of the State Educational Institution Gymnasium No. 3 named after V.N. Veremeyuk in Brest. It is also equipped with modern equipment and is designed for regular sports activities of residents of the surrounding areas.
The project “Sport for All”, which has been implemented since 2021, is aimed at developing sports infrastructure in walking distance. During its implementation, more than 170 multifunctional street complexes have appeared in Belarus. In 2026, it is planned to open more than 50 new facilities in different regions of the country. The main target of the project is to create conditions for active leisure activities of the population and popularize mass sports, which makes a significant contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 10, 11 and other SDGs.
