17 August 2026
From August 17 to 21, 2026, the Grodno Region is hosting a comprehensive preventive campaign called “Digital Literacy Week,” aimed at improving citizens’ online safety and preventing internet fraud.
As part of the initiative, law enforcement agencies are conducting raid operations, thematic lectures, and information meetings with work collectives, at enterprises, and in rural executive committees. Special attention is paid to the protection of personal data and digital services: residents of the region are informed about the rules for the safe use of messengers, bank cards, and online payments, and are also warned against the inadmissibility of sharing confirmation codes, details, and payment instruments with third parties.
Improving the digital literacy of the population contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 9 and other SDGs.
