On September 25, 2025, the IV Republican educational project “Lessons of Sustainable Development” was launched in institutions of general secondary education in Belarus, aimed at popularizing the ideas and values of sustainable development, the formation of eco-friendly habits and a “sustainable” lifestyle among children and youth.
More than 400 students of specialized classes of pedagogical orientation representing 71 institutions of general secondary education of all regions of the country will take part in the project.
The project involves holding weekly online sessions with digital lessons on Sustainable Development Goals, after studying which participants will be able to independently conduct their first “sustainable” lessons and introduce students at their schools and gymnasiums to the Goals of Sustainable Development. Didactic scenarios and methodological recommendations for their implementation (digital lessons) will be posted on the website of the Lessons of Sustainable Development project.

The Republican educational project “Lessons of Sustainable Development” was organized within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs”, implemented by UN agencies in the Republic of Belarus and funded by the Government of the Russian Federation.
