SDG Youth Ambassadors implement the “Sustainable Summer” project

In June – August 2024, the “Sustainable Summer” project is being implemented in health and school camps throughout Belarus.

The goal of the project is to popularize the Sustainable Development Goals among young people and discuss new ideas in the field of sustainable development in the context of modern challenges.

As part of the project, Youth Ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals and their alternates conduct exciting interactive lessons for students of children’s camps on the topic of sustainable development. Classes have already been held in the health camps “Local History”, “Belye Rozy”, “Svityaz”, “Yunyye Ekologi”, “Sosny”, “Beryozka”, “Lesnoy Ogonyok”, children’s labor and recreation camp “Novatori”, children’s sanatorium “Zhemchuzhina”, as well as in ten school camps on the basis of state educational institutions.

The implementation of the “Sustainable Summer” project is carried out within the framework of the Joint Project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs”, funded by the Government of the Russian Federation, and makes an important contribution to the popularization of the ideas and values ​​of the 2030 Agenda.
