The event was organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the seminar, representatives of government agencies and the scientific community discussed government policy measures in the field of preserving the population and labor resources in the context of population decline and aging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Belarus, improving the demographic potential of the population consists of three interrelated components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fertility and family strengthening;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>population health, quality and accessibility of medical care;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>regulation of migration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to mitigate negative trends in demographic development, the country is implementing the Program of Socio-Economic Development until 2025, as well as a number of government programs.
