On August 23, 2024, the off-site working meeting of the Regional Sustainable Development Group of the Mogilev region was held at the Chigirinka tourism cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by 22 people, 59% of whom were women, including representatives of the Mogilev Regional, Bykhov and Mstislav District Executive Committees, the Mogilev Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies, the Mogilev Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, educational institutions, culture, youth, tourism and other organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the participants discussed approaches to updating the Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Mogilev Region for the period up to 2035, proposals for revising strategic priorities in terms of life quality of the population, high-quality and accessible education, healthcare, increasing the competitiveness of the regions of the Mogilev Region and other issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized by the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee with the support of the United Nations Development Programme in Belarus within the framework of the Joint Project \u201cSupport to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs\u201d<\/a>, with the financial support of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updating the Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Mogilev Region for the period up to 2035 makes an important contribution to the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
