It is expected that the level of recovery of secondary material resources will be 64% by 2025, and the level of use of municipal waste by 2035 will be 90%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve these goals, Belarus has created the necessary infrastructure for the separate collection and sorting of solid municipal waste and continues to develop it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, within the framework of the implementation of the State Program &#8220;Comfortable Housing and Favorable Environment&#8221; for 2021-2025, 10 waste sorting plants have been built in the country, a regional complex for handling municipal solid waste in Volkovysk is under construction, as well as waste sorting plants in Gomel, Minsk and Bobruisk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective waste management contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals <a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target12\/\">12<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target13\/\">13<\/a> and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/belta.by\/society\/view\/trubilo-v-belarusi-postroeno-desjat-musorosortirovochnyh-zavodov-soglasno-profilnoj-gosprogramme-662093-2024\/\">Source of information<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, 4 million tons of solid municipal waste are generated in Belarus, from which more than 800 thousand tons of secondary material resources are extracted.
