The participants were presented with key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. Special attention was paid to the sustainability of the solutions created and the prospects for further development of the pilot initiative on the SDGs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, as part of the SDG pilot initiative, an online Resource Center for people with disabilities was created, 25 people with disabilities and their family members were consulted on social rehabilitation and adaptation, 120 drivers and conductors in Gomel were trained on boarding\/disembarking from public transport for people with disabilities, and an &#8220;Inclusive Week&#8221; was organized and held in the Gomel region.&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SDG pilot initiative \u201cRegional Information Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities \u2013 Assistance in Exercising and Protecting Their Rights\u201d implemented by the Gomel Regional NGO for Disabled Persons with Impaired Musculoskeletal Function \u201cDisabled Persons with Spinal Injurie\u201d with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Belarus as part of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/joint-project-supporting-the-efforts-of-the-republic-of-belarus-in-the-nationalization-and-localization-of-sdgs\/\">Joint Project \u201cSupport to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;funded by the Government of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of the SDG pilot initiative contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target4\/\">4<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target8\/\">8<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target10\/\">10<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.by\/en\/targets\/target11\/\">11<\/a>&nbsp;and the other SDGs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 29, 2025, the final workshop of the SDG pilot initiative \u201cRegional Information Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities \u2013 Assistance in Exercising and Protecting Their Rights\u201d was held on the basis of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
