Meeting of the Council for Sustainable Development was held in Minsk

On August 2, 2023, the meeting of the Council for Sustainable Development was held in Minsk. During the event, participants got acquainted with the results of the UN’s work in the Republic of Belarus for 2022 and discussed the development of a green and inclusive economy, digital transformation and social innovation, gender equality in society and orientation towards future generations. Members of the Council for Sustainable Development also discussed the issue of Belarus’ preparation for the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, which will be held on September 18-19, 2023, at UN Headquarters in New York.
