On April 10, 2025 within the framework of the V Mogilev Regional Forum on Sustainable Development the presentation of initiatives in the field of sustainable development and awarding the winners of the contest of best practices for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Mogilev region for the period until 2035 took place.
The contest was held to involve the public in achieving the objectives and indicators of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Mogilev region for the period until 2035.
Participation in the contest was open to legal entities of all forms of ownership, non-profit organizations, individual entrepreneurs, local authorities and/or their structural subdivisions, as well as initiative groups of the population developing and implementing initiatives and projects in partnership with local authorities and other organizations.
A total of 35 applications were submitted from all districts of the region. The winners and prize-winners in the contest are:
In the nomination “The best idea for the project for the implementation of the SDS-2035”:
1 place – sewing inclusive center “Chance” from the State Institution “Glusky children’s social boarding house ”Vesnovo”;
2 place – creation of the Center of competences on labor productivity improvement on the basis of FEZ “Mogilev” Administration from FEZ “Mogilev” Administration;
3 place – “Rainbow Movement” from the initiative group of the population of Klichev.
In the nomination “Best implemented project on achieving the SDS-2035”:
1 place – inclusive project “Touching Hall” from the Children’s Library Branch Nº2 of the CI “Centralized System of State Public Libraries of Mogilev”;
2 place – project “Woman of the Future” from Decro Consulting LLC;
3 place – model demonstration project “Ecodome” from the Krasnopolsky District Social Service Center.
In the nomination “For significant contribution to the implementation of the SDS-2035”:
1 place – Initiative group for the development of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Krasnopolsky District for the period until 2035;
2 place – HCI “Mogilev Zonal Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology”;
3 place – HCI “Mogilev Regional Center of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health”.
The contest of best practices for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Mogilev region for the period until 2035 makes an important contribution to the development of Mogilev region, as well as to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by the Republic of Belarus.
