On March 31, students of the Belarusian State Medical University and students of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University met with Stefania-Vitalia Vinnicek, Youth Ambassador of the Sustainable Development Goals. She represents SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions”.
The debate addressed sensitive topics such as euthanasia and sex reassignment surgery on the part of somatic rights, liability for violating the mask regime, and the pros and cons of introducing “vaccine passports” for the population. First, theoretical reports were presented by Eugene Karpuk, chairman of the CCSSG (Coordinating Council of Student Self-Government), Vladislav Konchak, deputy chairman of the CCSSG , Stephania-Vitalia Vinnichek and Kristina Kuzmenkova, which continued with a discussion of the presented issues from the medical and legal points of view.
