Vladislav Tatarinovich, SDG National Coordinator, held a meeting with Boris Gryzlov, Russia’s Ambassador to Belarus

On December 23, 2025, Vladislav Tatarinovich, National Coordinator for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, met in Minsk with Boris Gryzlov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the context of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Vladislav Tatarinovich informed about the results of the successful implementation by Belarus, together with UN agencies, of a number of activities within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Support to the Efforts of the Republic of Belarus in Nationalization and Localization of SDGs”, funded by the Russian Federation. He expressed hope for the continuation of this work and thanked the Russian side for supporting the functioning of the national mechanism for achieving the SDGs in Belarus.

Special attention was paid to the high level of cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the field of interparliamentary partnership.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation and mutual support on a wide range of issues.
