The “100 gadzin z A1” campaign, implemented since 2020, is part of the broad strategy of the A1 company to introduce ESG principles into its activities. The main goal of the initiative is to promote charity, active lifestyle, social responsibility and sustainable development. Due to its strong charitable component, the initiative received widespread public support.

    CONTENTS OF THE ACTIVITY

    As part of the Сampaign, citizens were invited to take part in various types of sports activities (running, walking, swimming, cycling) in order to collectively accumulate a certain number of hours of physical activity. Participants were required to accumulate a total of 50,000 hours of training within 50 days using online training time recording. Upon achieving this goal, A1 company provided charitable financial assistance for social and environmental needs. The most active participants of the Сampaign (with 100 hours of activity or more) received symbolic rewards and incentives.

    KEY STEPS OF IMPLEMENTATION

    Key steps on the implementation of the initiative were to engage participants through information campaigns, use of an online platform to track progress, organize special events to raise awareness of the goals and outcomes of the Campaign.

    RESULTS AND IMPACT OF THE INITIATIVE

    The initiative received significant resonance in society. Based on the results of two events held in 2020 and 2021, sponsorship in the amount of 50,000 rubles was provided to the Republican Clinical Center for Palliative Medical Care for Children and the SOS Children’s Village of Mogilev. In the SOS Children’s Village of Mogilev, 300 solar panels and an air source heat pump were purchased and installed using the funds received.

    In honor of the 152 most active participants, personalized trees were planted on the territory of the SOS Children’s Village of Borovlyany.

    The “100 gadzin z A1” initiative demonstrates how business can play a key role in supporting social and environmental initiatives, transforming citizen activity into real help to those in need and contributing to the sustainable development of society.
