The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus signed the Resolution No. 326 dated June 26, 2026 “On the reorganization of the State educational institution Academy of Education”.
According to the document, the state educational institution “Academy of Education” will be reorganized by joining the educational institution “Republican Institute of Vocational Education” and the State Educational Institution “Republican Institute of Higher Education”.
The Academy of Education will ensure continuity of activities in terms of scientific and methodological support for all levels of education ‑ from preschool to higher education, as well as additional education for adults, children and youth. In addition, the institution will implement professional development and retraining programs for teaching staff.
The reorganization of the state educational institution “Academy of Education” will contribute to a more sustainable development of the education system and improve the quality of teacher training, as well as to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8 and the other SDGs.
