The Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus announces the holding of the republican contest “Businesswomen” dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman. The project aims to highlight the role of women leaders who have achieved significant professional results and made a significant contribution to the development of the economy and social sphere, both in their organizations and nationwide.
The contest includes three nominations: “The Best Businesswoman”, “The best head of a Budget Sector organization” and “The best head of an organization in the real sector of the economy”.
The main feature of the contest is the national nomination format. Candidates are offered by labor collectives. The evaluation of the participants will consider the results of the organization’s work and the effectiveness of social policy: sustainable development, job creation, wage growth, mentoring, the availability of a collective agreement and additional guarantees for employees. Special attention will be paid to cooperation with the trade union organization and public activity, such as participation in charity projects, social initiatives and programs aimed at developing regions and supporting people.
The documents and the application for participation in the contest must be sent to the regional or Minsk city organization of the branch trade union by August 20, 2026.

Holding the republican contest “Businesswomen” will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8, 10 and the other SDGs.
