The State program “Health of the Nation and Demographic Security” for 2021-2025 was approved

The State program “Health of the Nation and Demographic Security” for 2021-2025 was approved by the Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 28 of January 19, 2021. Its goal is to create conditions to improve the health of the population, covering all stages of life, improving the quality and accessibility of health services. The state program will contribute to the achievement of national security indicators in the field of health and demographic security, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals at the national level (SDG 3 “Good Health”).

According to the State Program, the priorities in the area of health and demographic security until 2025 will be as follows:

  •     strengthening of reproductive health, formation of a culture of healthy lifestyle and health saving;
  •     improving the system of support for families with children, improving their living conditions, and strengthening the institution of the family;
  •     developing outpatient and polyclinic services;
  •     Developing regional health care, including interregional and inter-district centers.

Among the planned activities of the program are the development of the “Parent-Friendly Company” concept, development of the “Healthy Cities and Villages” national network, improvement of the medical genetic service and others. You can read about the program on the National Legal Portal.
