On May 4, 2026, Gomel hosted the presentation of the intelligent system “Iskra Ultra” – new digital development designed to instantly separate reliable information from destructive content. The author of the project is Roman Nedbaylo, programming student at Gomel State Technical University named after P.O.Sukhoi and editor of the department of the newspaper “Loysky Krai”.
Iskra Ultra is a multifunctional tool for analyzing Internet resources and media materials. The system processes links, text materials, images, videos, and audio files, determining whether they belong to destructive sources or questionable materials. To check, just enter the link, specify the name of the media file or upload it directly, as well as attach a photo or screenshot of the web page.
The development is based on multilevel content detection algorithms and uses deep semantic text analysis combined with automatic fact checking according to state media in real time. Computer vision modules are integrated into the system, providing face recognition and prohibited symbols in photos and videos.
The project provides for regular updating of the functionality and expansion of the system’s capabilities. The link to the installation file will be publicly available.
The development and operation of the intellectual system “Iskra Ultra” will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goal 9 and the other SDGs.
